Epic Concepts founder Gary Dewitt began working with medical labs and reporting bureaus after college, installing and training processing systems that involved PII (personally identifiable information). With ten years in the field, we were asked to develop an employee screening system for one of the credit bureaus, and we then automated the process. From there, Gary created a CRA (consumer reporting agency) while continuing to develop new automated systems for the screening industry. In 2006, Epic Concepts was incorporated and created its third screening system using the latest security tools. Epic Concepts is now offering our 4th generation of software for screening. Our team is here to help you grow your business and keep consumer information secure. 

Joining the team as System Administrator and Lead Developer in 2006, Scott Lentz took EZyCheck® to the next level. Moving to the latest TLS protocols and managing Cloud development and strategy is but a few of Scott's task focusing on security and ongoing support. Graduating from the University of Missouri in 1995 helped propel him through his two decades in the background screening field. Married since 2001 with two children, Scott is dedicated and wants to help Epic clients grow. Current technology platform proficiencies are SQL Server, VBA. VB.NET, C#, .NET, Javascript, and more as we utilize Robotics Process Automation (RPA) where it's beneficial.
